Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed once the required deposit has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid before delivery or as otherwise agreed by AJ Event Hire.

Security Bond

A refundable security bond may be required for selected hires.

The bond will be refunded within 2–5 business days after all hired equipment has been inspected and returned in good condition.

Deductions may be made for missing items, damage beyond normal wear and tear, excessive cleaning, or additional collection costs.

Delivery & Professional Setup

AJ Event Hire provides professional delivery, setup, and pack-down for all marquees.

Our team will ensure the marquee is safely installed and secured.

The customer must ensure there is clear access to the setup area before our arrival.

Extra charges may apply if access is difficult or if setup takes longer than expected due to site conditions.

Site Requirements

Customers must advise us of any underground services, irrigation systems, septic tanks, or other hazards before installation.

The setup area should be reasonably level and free from obstacles.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any permissions required for the installation.

Weather Policy

Marquees are designed to provide shelter from normal weather conditions but are not suitable for use during severe weather.

For safety reasons, AJ Event Hire may delay, reschedule, or cancel a booking if high winds, heavy rain, or other dangerous weather conditions are forecast.

Customers must not attempt to dismantle, move, or modify the marquee.

If strong winds or severe weather develop during the hire period, the marquee must be vacated immediately until conditions improve.

Customer Responsibilities

Do not attach decorations, lights, signs, tape, or other items to the marquee without prior approval.

No open flames, fireworks, or barbecues are permitted inside or near the marquee unless specifically approved.

Customers are responsible for any loss or damage caused by misuse, negligence, or vandalism during the hire period.

Damage & Cleaning

Equipment must be returned in the same condition as supplied, allowing for normal use.

Repair or replacement costs for damaged or missing equipment will be charged to the customer.

Excessive cleaning or laundry charges may apply if table linen, chair covers, or other hire items are returned heavily soiled.

Liability

AJ Event Hire is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage resulting from misuse of the hired equipment or failure to follow our safety instructions.
